May & Kuhn is a collaboration between New Zealand designer Nell May and German novelist Kevin Kuhn.

Since 2015, May & Kuhn have experienced daily life with products by L&Z Elements, including their Sinus Trestle and Ed Mobile Pedestal (both by Daniel Lorch), and the Roll Up Bin (Michel Charlot); in 2017 Sam Rountree Williams’ oil painting Paralysing Stasis (2016) was added to their collection.

For the duration of May, 2018, May & Kuhn will temporarily extend the presence of both Rountree Williams and L&Z within their Berlin-Moabit living and working environment – a reconfigured 50sqm apartment within a 1950s post-war building. New oil paintings by Rountree Williams will be exhibited along with further examples of L&Z’s versatile products – including additional manifestations of Michel Charlot’s Roll Up Bin, the Help Universal Light (Rupert Kopp) and the Unit Desk Accessories (Mark Braun).
